To strengthen our team in the Digital Business Solutions division, we are looking for a committed Engineering Lead Cloud Development (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
YOU CAN EXPECT THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
* Responsibility for the technical management and strategic development of cloud and software development, primarily in the private cloud environment
* Technical and disciplinary management of interdisciplinary internal and external development teams; nearshoring and offshoring.
* Architecture, design, and further development of our software platforms in the field of digital fire protection.
* Close cooperation with external partners and our product management, UX, and operations teams.
* Responsibility for code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
* Establishment and further development of modern development processes (e.g., clean code, testing, AI, etc.).
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Leadership mentality, strong communication skills, and several years of experience in managing development teams
* Several years of experience in a software development or architecture role
* In-depth knowledge of modern backend and/or frontend technologies, preferably Java Spring, PHP, Ionic
* Experience with microservice architectures, event-driven architecture, development with Kubernetes
* Very good understanding of software architecture, IT security, and scaling
* Structured, responsible way of working – ideal for safety-critical systems
* Knowledge of fire protection, building technology, IoT, or Industry 4.0 is a plus, but not a must.
