Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software.
* Server Management: You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers in a virtualized environment (VMware/Hyper-V).
* Network Administration: You will manage LAN/WAN networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls; monitor network performance and security.
* Backup & Recovery: You will develop disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity.
* Software Management: You will install, configure, and update company software as well as manage licenses.
* Monitoring: You will use monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor system availability and performance; proactively identify problems.
* Documentation: You will create and maintain technical documentation and operating instructions.
* Project Work: You will support in the planning and implementation of IT projects, e.g. migrations, rollouts of new systems or cloud solutions.
Requirements
* You must have completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification.
* You must have at least 3 years of professional experience in system administration.
* You must have solid knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN); virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V); backup solutions (Veeam); security solutions (firewalls, etc.).
* You must have excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.
* You must have teamwork skills and the ability to work independently; strong communication skills.
