The Renewable Sales Director—Power & Renewables Europe plays a key role in shaping and executing Emerson’s growth strategy in the Renewables industry.

This leadership position aims to achieve double-digit profitable growth in the Europe Power & Renewables and Systems & Software (SYSS) business. You will lead a dedicated Renewables sales team and collaborate with in-country Sales Directors to position Emerson as the preferred supplier for renewable projects, consultancy, and lifecycle services. Responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing sales strategies to surpass orders and profit targets in the Renewables industry across Europe.
* Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration across country teams within the SYSS Front Sales Offices.
* Defining go-to-market strategies and value propositions for Ovation Core, Ovation Green, and hybrid solutions, including Wind, Solar, BESS, and more.
* Maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
* Growing a healthy sales pipeline to expand market share in Renewables.
* Collaborating with Lifecycle Care and Product teams to shape service offerings and influence product development based on market insights.
* Aligning with Emerson’s sales tools and processes to promote a data-driven sales culture.
* Coordinating marketing efforts focused on Renewables and representing the European market internally.
* Reporting business metrics and participating in management reviews.
* Setting clear team goals and providing mentorship and development opportunities.
* Supporting regional budget planning in collaboration with the SYSS Europe management team.
* Upholding Emerson’s standards in Ethics, Quality, Trade Compliance, and policies.

Candidate profile:

You are proactive in identifying future policies, practices, and market trends. You prioritize actions based on business drivers and market focus. Your communication style adapts to diverse audiences, and you foster an environment where diverse ideas are valued. You are a strategic partner in building profitable, long-term relationships with key accounts.

Requirements:

* A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related technical field; a business degree is advantageous.
* Proven success in sales, sales leadership, or management roles, especially in process control or software solutions, with several years of experience.
* Experience in building and growing businesses within the Renewables sector.
* Strong leadership skills in developing individuals and teams across regions.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to empower others at all levels.
* Experience working in matrixed, international organizations.
* Proficiency in English and willingness to travel across Europe.

Preferred qualifications:

* Deep domain knowledge and experience with strategic project development in Wind, Solar, BESS, and Hybrid systems.
* Knowledge of Emerson’s Ovation solutions or similar control and automation platforms.
* Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Product and Lifecycle Services teams.
* Understanding of digital transformation in the Renewables industry.
