What you'll expect
* Lead and inspire an international sales team of 5 professionals
* Develop and implement a strategy to win new and grow existing customers
* Take an active role in sales with direct responsibility for revenue and margins
* Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention
* Build long-term partnerships with key accounts in the European pet food industry
* Collaborate with innovation, logistics, and procurement teams to identify new business opportunities
* Represent IQI at international trade shows and conferences
* Create annual sales plans with quarterly forecasts
* Coach your team in consultative selling techniques
* Execute market analysis, including competition, scan & search new customers, analyse and report on trends and developments in the Pet Food market(s)
What we expect from you
* Several years of experience in sales, ideally within the pet food industry
* Proven leadership experience in an entrepreneurial environment
* Track record of building profitable sales pipelines
* Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
* Structured and self-driven work style with a hands-on attitude
* Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and team orientation
* Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
