About the role This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting and wants exposure to the broader HR lifecycle. As Talent & HR Coordinator for a Valsoft portfolio, you’ll support end-to-end hiring while coordinating key HR processes that keep teams running smoothly. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, HR, and Finance/Payroll partners across multiple companies, building a strong foundation for future growth into an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner path. What you’ll do Talent Acquisition Coordinate and support the full recruiting process: intake, job postings, sourcing support, screening coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and reference checks. Maintain clean, accurate candidate data in the ATS; ensure consistent pipeline hygiene and timely follow-ups. Partner with hiring managers to align on role requirements Support offer process logistics: approvals, documentation, and onboarding handoff. Contribute to employer branding (job ad quality, candidate experience, outreach templates, LinkedIn postings). HR Coordination Support onboarding and offboarding administration (checklists, equipment requests, account access coordination, documentation, and day-one readiness). Maintain HR records and trackers (headcount, starters/leavers, contract status, probation milestones) with strong attention to confidentiality. Help coordinate performance-cycle logistics and HR cadence items (probation reviews, annual reviews, policy acknowledgements). Assist with employee changes (title/comp updates, transfers, contract updates) and route approvals to the right stakeholders. Prepare basic HR reporting for the portfolio (hiring progress, time-to-fill, pipeline metrics, headcount movement). Process & Portfolio Support Help standardize templates and workflows across portfolio companies while respecting local realities. Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to TA/HR processes. Act as a friendly, responsive first point of contact for routine people-process questions, escalating when needed. Skills & experience Required 1–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR coordination, or a similar people-ops role (internships included). Strong organization and follow-through; you enjoy making processes run cleanly. Excellent written communication (German / English) and a service mindset. Comfort handling confidential information with discretion. Nice to have Experience with an ATS and basic HRIS systems (any tools). Exposure to multi-country hiring or working with external payroll providers. Interest in HR topics beyond hiring (employee relations basics, performance cycles, org structure). Languages: English and German required; French a plus.
