In this highly project-driven position, you will focus on improving key operational KPIs across production – especially around Error Rate, Minutes per Box, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll combine hands-on operational presence with data-driven decision-making to create measurable change.
What you’ll do
1. Support and lead Yellow and Green Belt projects within a production environment to improve operational KPIs.
2. Identify improvement opportunities across production processes and implement sustainable solutions together with cross-functional teams.
3. Drive change initiatives related to new processes, technologies, and systems to ensure successful adoption across the organisation.
4. Analyse operational data using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
5. Low-Code/No-Code Platforms: applications with PowerApps, AppSheet, or similar tools to bridge the gap between "data insight" and "on-floor tool."
6. Be actively present on the shop floor, engage with teams directly, and help drive a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Document process improvements, best practices, and project outcomes in a structured and transparent way.
8. Drive standards and expectations in line with standard work and operational excellence principles.
9. Provide training and support on process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques. (Lean, Six Sigma)
What you’ll bring
10. A degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations.
11. Experience: 3–5 years in a manufacturing or high-volume fulfillment environment
12. Proven experience contributing to or leading improvement and operational excellence projects
13. Strong practical experience in Lean Methodology & its tools
14. Strong knowledge in AI tools and modern digital solutions
15. Passion for combining data analysis with hands-on operational work
16. Strong analytical and prioritisation skills with a KPI-driven mindset
17. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL
18. Strong communication skills and an extroverted personality with the ability to engage and influence people on the shop floor
19. Resilience and a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude to problem-solving when faced with real-time operational challenges
20. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders up to senior management level
21. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment (Agile Practitioner)
22. Fluent in German or English, with at least B2 level in the other language
