Nter Talent is proud to be partnering with a leading international real estate and infrastructure business to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager based in Frankfurt.
This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional with a strong background in engineering procurement, particularly within civil engineering and construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting large-scale logistics and industrial developments across Europe and international markets.
We are specifically seeking candidates with expertise in Civil Engineering Cost Estimation or Quantity Surveying, combined with hands-on procurement and supplier management experience.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Director of International Procurement, you will lead and support the full procurement lifecycle across development and operational projects. Working closely with Development, Business Development, Asset Management, and delivery teams, you will drive procurement strategy, tendering activities, supplier management, and cost optimisation initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile logistics and industrial construction developments within a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Delivery
* Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil engineering and construction projects within the logistics and industrial sector.
* Support procurement planning aligned with project timelines, budgets, and operational objectives.
* Ensure procurement activities comply with local regulations, company standards, and international best practices.
Engineering & Construction Procurement
* Lead procurement activities relating to civil engineering works, construction materials, contractors, and technical services.
* Manage the full tendering and bidding process including:
* Preparation of tender documentation
* Bid evaluations
* Commercial negotiations
* Contract awards
* Purchase order management
* Support project teams with procurement execution across development and refurbishment projects.
Supplier & Commercial Management
* Build and manage supplier and contractor relationships across Germany and wider European markets.
* Negotiate commercial terms and long-term supplier agreements.
* Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently.
Cost & Commercial Analysis
* Apply expertise in Civil Engineering Cost Estimation and/or Quantity Surveying to support budgeting, benchmarking, and cost control activities.
* Analyse market pricing, project costs, and procurement efficiencies to support commercial decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience within procurement for:
* Civil engineering
* Construction
* Logistics and industrial developments
* Real estate or infrastructure projects
* Strong background in Engineering Procurement with exposure to construction and technical packages.
* Proven experience in Civil Engineering Cost Estimation or Quantity Surveying.
* Strong understanding of local procurement markets, contractor management, and construction cost structures.
* Experience managing full procurement cycles from tender through to contract award.
* Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Fluent English required; German language skills would be highly advantageous.
