As a Project Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting and coordinating research activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing project management and research administration support to principal investigators and research staff
* Assisting in the identification, acquisition and management of research grants from different national, European and international funding agencies and programmes
* Monitoring the entire grant life cycle from proposal writing to project execution, reporting and closure
* Ensuring quality assurance and compliance of projects and grants with requirements from internal and/or external stakeholders
* Advising and contributing to financial and human resources allocation
* Being an interface towards the funding agencies in particular for reporting and cost claims
* Ensuring internal communication and cooperation with other faculties and the University administration regarding all research related questions
* Tracking, documenting and reporting research related information and data to internal and/or external stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* A Master degree or equivalent experience in an area relevant to grant and project management
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role and preferably in externally funded projects
* Proven experience in writing grant proposals and grant management
* Good knowledge of Luxembourgish and EU funding programs
* Project management skills and knowledge of project management principles and best practices. Project management certification is an advantage
* Fluent in English. Knowledge of French, German and/or Luxembourgish would be an advantage
* Service oriented and problem solving attitude
* Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work efficiently in a demanding, dynamic and deadline oriented environment
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Team player used to evolve in a high-level expectation environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a multicultural environment
