Department Overview
In our Munich Development Center for high-speed signaling, we develop, test, and characterize industry-leading DRAM memories for high-performance datacenter, AI, automotive, and gaming applications, within an international, highly innovative, and motivated development team that offers challenging tasks and individual creative freedom.
Role Overview
We are looking for aDRAM Design Engineerto design and verify digitaland mixed signalblocks for next‑generation memory products. You will work closely with architecture, integration, and verification teams to deliver high‑performance, high‑reliability DRAM solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Design digitaland mixed signalblocksfor GDDR and DDR DRAMattransistor,gateand RTL levels.
2. Define interface, behavior, and functional requirements formixed signal blocks.
3. Collaborate with block owners and integration teams to ensure full‑chip integration.
4. Develop testbenches.
5. Perform functional and gate‑level verification.
6. Support siliconbring‑up and design validation activities.
7. Use AI‑driven tools to streamline workflows and enhance design efficiency.
Required Qualifications
8. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineeringor equivalent practical experience.
9. Strong fundamentals in semiconductor physics and digital and mixed-signal circuit design.
10. Knowledge of common digital circuit concepts such as decoders, FIFOs, serial-to-parallel, parallel-to-serial converters, cross-domainsynchronization techniques, error detection and correction codes, random data generators is beneficial
11. Experience with schematic/gate level design and simulations.
12. Experience with industry‑standard EDA tools (,Spice,Primesim,SystemVerilog, Design Compiler,PrimeTime,Xcelium, Spyglass).
13. Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Python, TCL, Claude Code, Atlassian toolchain.
14. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
15. Comfortable working in an international engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
16. Memory design experience.
