Activities
* Leading contract negotiations with software vendors
* Conducting market analyses to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings
* Managing and maintaining purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring license compliance
* Reviewing and validating commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets
* Managing contracts, including monitoring contract durations and adapting them to current needs and requirements
* Applying IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to manage and optimize IT resources, especially in the areas of procurement and license management
Requirements
* Completed degree in economics, business administration, computer science or a corresponding education with several years of professional experience in procurement
* Ideally a job-relevant additional qualification, such as negotiation training, BME course in procurement, etc.
* Strong system and process understanding as well as practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems
* Extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge
* Ability to cooperate, sociability, and conscientiousness
* Proficient use of MS Office applications
* Very good English skills, both written and spoken
