An international health and wellness solutions provider is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to lead growth across the German market. This role offers the opportunity to represent a diverse, science-backed portfolio of nutraceutical ingredients, custom formulations, and contract manufacturing services tailored for the dietary supplement, functional food, and sports nutrition sectors.


The company operates across multiple geographies and delivers end-to-end solutions including branded actives, finished dosage forms (capsules, tablets, softgels, powders), and regulatory support for B2B clients ranging from startup brands to major consumer health players.


Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute a territory-level commercial strategy targeting supplement brands, contract manufacturers, and formulation-driven product developers

• Build and maintain relationships with customers across dietary supplements, sports nutrition, active lifestyle, healthy aging, and immune health categories

• Consultatively position high-value solutions spanning functional ingredients, dose form innovation, and custom development

• Support clients from concept to commercialization, working across functions including R&D, regulatory, technical sales, and project management

• Represent the company at key industry events such as Vitafoods, Hi Europe, and SupplySide West

• Develop accurate forecasts and maintain CRM activity tracking across the full pipeline

• Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements in line with margin and compliance targets

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and innovation within nutraceutical science, delivery systems, and regulatory frameworks


Candidate Profile

• Native-level fluency in German and professional English communication

• 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, functional ingredients, or contract manufacturing

• Solid understanding of customer needs across product lifecycles, including formulation, technical sales, regulatory considerations, and go-to-market planning

• Experience selling or working with formats such as gummies, powders, tablets, softgels, capsules, stick packs, or functional beverages

• Proven success in building and converting a pipeline within competitive, science-led industries

• Degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences, Business, Food Technology, or similar; further scientific or commercial training is advantageous

• Willing to travel frequently within Germany for client visits, industry meetings, and internal collaboration
