As a trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the development, analysis, and monitoring of project and pipeline related business cases, contributing to the company's strategic growth and success.
Your tasks:
Phase I: Orientation
1. You will dive into the pharmaceutical industry, gaining insights into the companies structure, values and portfolio.
2. Master essential tools and systems like portfolio management software and project tracking tools to kickstart your journey.
Phase II: Core Functions / Focus
Portfolio Management, Project Management and Business Development
3. Analyze portfolio performance and propose optimization strategies, directly contributing to product lifecycle management.
4. As part of cross-functional project teams, you will create and monitor detailed project plans while ensuring timelines and risks are well-managed.
5. Conduct market analyses to evaluate new product opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
Phase III: Supporting Rotations
6. You will take part in developing product launch strategies and lifecycle management plans, aligning efforts with portfolio goals for sustained growth.
7. Explore regulatory requirements and understand their impact on portfolio steering decisions.
8. Contribute to account forecasting, market analysis, and contract negotiations as part of the sales and account management team.
9. Gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, including production planning, inventory management, and delivery processes.
10. You will support financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and monthly P&L reviews.
Capstone Project
Launch, Marketing und Life-Cycle Management, Regulatory Affairs, Account Management und Sales, Supply Chain und Operations, Controlling and Quality Assurance
11. Lead a strategic project where you’ll address a real business need, such as optimizing product lifecycle management or designing a market entry strategy for a new product.
Your profile:
12. You hold a university degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or Pharmacy (preferred).
13. An analytical mindset and attention to detail enable you to dissect complex problems and craft structured solutions.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerBI, is part of your skill set.
15. You thrive in dynamic environments, showing adaptability and a strong willingness to learn.
16. Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics is a plus, though not mandatory.
17. You bring added value with previous internships, coursework, or experience in business case development.
