Develop Category Visions for your categories together with local, regional and global stakeholders.
Identify business opportunities within your categories and develop category management strategies and category growth stories to achieve these
Generate insights through the analysis of category, brand, and competitor data, including collaboration with other internal departments and external service providers
Closely collaborate with Customer & Shopper Activation, Perfect Store, Sales, Market Research and Marketing to accelerate the physical availability of our brands and to drive category growth
Demonstrate an owner’s mindset by enhancing our Category Management approach, challenging the status quo and implementing new ways of working & tools
University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Category Management, Marketing or Sales in the FMCG/OTC industry.
Certification in category management (GS1 or equivalent) is optional
Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel & Power Point)
Knowledge of analyzing GfK and Nielsen panel data & working with SpaceMan is optional
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pronounced affinity for data and numbers
Advanced understanding of the German retail landscape (especially drugstores & pharmacies) & strong connection to key customers & buyers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging various stakeholders (internal & external), fostering a collaborative work environment and building powerful partnerships with customers
Fluency in German & English is required
