Your mission Responsibility in the process of invoices, while also verifying documentation and approvals for payment requests Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments, reconcile payments and address discrepancies with vendors Identify opportunities for improving AP workflow efficiency and implement best practices to enhance accuracy Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Record accurate and timely accrual entries to reflect incurred expenses and revenues Ensure proper recognition of expenses in the accounting period in which they are incurred and record revenue when earned Contribute to the preparation of financial statements that adhere to accrual-based accounting principles, providing a more accurate representation of the company's financial position Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies Investigate and address any discrepancies or variances found during the reconciliation process in a timely and accurate manner Maintain thorough documentation supporting reconciliations, ensuring audit readiness and providing transparency in financial reporting Participates in team, departmental and general meetings Your profile Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the EU region Knowledge of DATEV and DE GAAP in a financial context is desirable Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills Ability to work independent and proactive in an international environment Fluent German and English languages are required What do we offer?
