We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) to become part of our team onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. You will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive interfaces, driving technical excellence in our frontend stack, and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems. In this role, you will combine hands-on coding with architectural guidance and mentoring, making a direct impact on the quality and usability of SCAYLE Payments’ products.

What you will do
8. Architect, develop, and maintain Scayle payments’ unified operations and developer portal
9. Collaborate with backend teams (Symfony) to integrate APIs
10. Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce frontend best practices
11. Implement modern build and deployment workflows
12. Collaborate with product managers to translate wireframes into implementations
13. Work with continuous Deployments (Gitlab Pipelines, AWS Elastic Container Service) and monitor applications with industry-standard tools (Datadog)
Who you are
14. 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
15. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
16. Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular
17. Familiarity with templating engines used in PHP frameworks (Blade, Twig, Smarty, etc.)
18. Expertise with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.)
19. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data
20. Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques
21. Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
22. Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes
