Job Overview
As a transport manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in Germany. Your primary focus will be to promote a culture of safety, uphold quality and shift performance standards.

* Engage and motivate your team with a culture of ownership and high performance.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Uphold Amazon's high standards of process quality.
* Improve and streamline processes to meet organizational goals.
* Develop practical solutions to complex problems.

* Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of new systems/processes.
* Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions effectively.
You'll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on maximizing productivity. A typical day includes routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and operational contingency tasks.
Amazon facilities operate 24/7, so as a transport manager, your working schedules may vary across day shifts, mid-shifts, and night shifts. You must be flexible to work weekends.
As a transport manager, you will travel across four Amazon facilities in the Dortmund area (DTM cluster) and more specifically in DTM1, DTM2, PAD1, DTM9, and PAD1. You are expected to split time between the office and facilities.
