Design Engineer Position
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems and equipment. This will involve creating technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using Siemens NX software.
Responsibilities:
* Design and development of complex mechanical systems and equipment
* Creation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using Siemens NX software
* Continuous improvement of existing systems and adaptation to new conditions
* Technical support and maintenance of machines and systems from initial design to commissioning
* Collaboration with external technical offices to develop and improve machine designs
* Communication and coordination with suppliers to ensure adherence to specifications
Requirements:
* Completed technical education paired with a vocational training in the field of Mechanical Engineering or Construction
* Several years of experience in the field of mechanical design and development, preferably in the area of special machinery construction
* Strong hands-on mentality, profound technical understanding, and creative problem-solving skills
* Proficient use of a 3D CAD system, preferably Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens NX
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, and willingness to travel
* Structured and self-motivated work style
* Very good knowledge of German and English for local and international projects
