Purpose of Job
The Portfolio lead is responsible for the definition, creation, thought leadership and provisioning of regional Supply Chain application solution designs to drive business value.
The role focuses on formulating the portfolio and product vision together with the Product Owners, to align and understand the needs of the stakeholders and enable solution evaluation, recommendation and design that will best work for the region. Acts as contact with the business in addressing escalated/serious operational delivery issues.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
* Drives business/functional process optimization by analyzing, creating, modifying Supply Chain modules and integrated third party applications within the portfolio to meet business needs
* Accountable for costs, quality and value in the area of responsibility.
* Manage IM service quality towards the Portfolio, in coordination and strong collaboration with all Portfolio leaders within the region and the BU.
* Drive harmonization of systems and alignment of processes across sites working together with the Business Portfolio Owners.
* Portfolio project and backlog management, including resource capacity and prioritization.
* Ability to coordinate with other IM teams for all contracted services making sure the business requirements are delivered within budget and agreed upon timeframe.
* Define and manage governance procedures towards technology change within the Portfolio
* Ability to follow IT process methodologies and procedures in change management, work intake, project management, documentation.
* Review Product key performance indicators and ensure that service specific improvement plans are in place where required and monitor corrective actions, where deemed necessary
* Recruit, retain and mentor the right resources for the team. Stimulates team and supports individual development, assigns the most knowledgeable resources to the projects.
Formal Education
Relevant Degree (e.g. BSc IT / Informatics / B Com Informatics) or equivalent qualification. Certification would be beneficial.
Working Experience
8 years total experience and 4 years at leadership level, including 2 full project lifecycles
Required Personal and Professional Experience
* Strong business process knowledge in Supply Chain and Sales, good understanding of IT technologies. Design and implementation of SAP MM, SD, LE and/ or EHS solutions including all sub modules. Integration experience with other SAP modules is a must. Must be able to identify impacts of implementing logistical solutions on financial accounting, costing and profitability analysis in SAP.
* Self and team development in order to support portfolio products evolution (e.g. S/4 Hana)
* Strategic thinking, innovative capacity, initiative, leadership and communication skills, including resiliance and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
