Quality Control Manager - Bulk Analytics (all genders)
As a Quality Control Manager - Bulk Analytics (all genders), you will serve as the scientific manager and functional leader in our analytical QC lab. You will ensure that all cGMP-compliant QC activities are conducted on time, safeguarding Bayer's license to operate and market supply. Your role is essential for the implementation and execution of a state-of-the-art quality control strategy for assigned products, as well as for the continuous improvement of operational QC processes.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You lead QC activities and ensure timely and cGMP-compliant execution
2. You implement and execute an advanced quality control strategy for assigned products
3. You are the QC manager for assigned products, including analytical methods, representing the capability pool in the assigned value stream or product team
4. You apply VACC behaviors and embody a collaborative and empowering leadership style to guide and develop a team of analytical or cross-functional experts
5. You manage QC-related processes in an analytical laboratory to perform cGMP-compliant release and stability testing
6. You are the responsible person for QC release decisions and the correct and timely processing of deviations and out-of-spec results
7. You support the continuous development of effective QC processes and the improvement of operational excellence
8. You prepare and maintain internal product documentation and global regulatory dossiers
WHO YOU ARE
9. You hold an advanced degree (master’s or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology)
10. You have leadership experience in a GMP-regulated environment and have proven experience in cross-functional projects
11. You are a -scientific expert for dedicated analytical methods and proactively drive exchange with internal and external SME networks
12. You have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and lifecycle management of analytical test methods
13. You are a strong communicator who builds trust and motivates teams to perform at their best
14. You think analytically, solve problems effectively, and remain focused under pressure
15. Your fluent German and English skills (written and spoken) complete your profile
