Job title: Regional Security Manager - Central Europe

Reports to: Regional Director of Security Operations

Location: Frankfurt, Germany - EMEA

About our team

We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Operations Support, Business Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.

About the role

The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for overseeing the physical security operations that protect critical infrastructure for a large, complex, global client. This role supervises Campus Security Managers and Site Security Managers, ensuring security policies and procedures are followed, audit readiness is maintained, and physical security standards are consistently met, or exceeded. The Regional Security Manager collaborates closely with internal leaders, the client, and partner vendors to ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role is a great fit for someone who is comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and enjoys working with a wide range of teams.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll work closely with a team of managers, guiding them on building strong teams, and keeping operations running smoothly across multiple locations. This role stays intricately connected to site-level activity, from overseeing security systems and supporting projects to making sure day-to-day priorities stay on track. You’ll ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are followed, keep sites prepared for audits, and review reporting to make sure information is accurate, timely, and useful. This role also shares regular updates with client leadership and key stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and aligned.

Beyond daily operations, you will serve as a key partner in solving problems, improving processes, and driving consistency across the program. This role communicates issues quickly, brings forward practical solutions, and looks for ways to make workflows, training, and procedures more efficient and effective. You’ll partner with clients, internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement agencies to address challenges and keep security efforts moving forward. Additionally, this position collaborates with other Regional Security Managers and stakeholders to strengthen accountability, support new initiatives, and help shape long-term goals and strategy.

What you need to apply

To apply for this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business, security, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in corporate security, the military, law enforcement, or a similar environment, including experience leading teams. Experience supporting multi-site operations in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred, along with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a practical, solution-focused approach to managing operations. Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar are a plus, and datacenter experience is preferred.

This position involves travel (approximately 50% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential. This role may also have to work nights and weekends to support high priority events and off-hours incidents.

All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to and from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently. Applicants must also be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (such as during an emergency event or crisis). Applicants must be able to meet and continue to meet licensing requirements for security officers, as applicable to local, county, and state laws and regulations.

What you’ll get

We offer more than just a job; we offer the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth matters. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic environment while supporting a prestigious multinational client account. You will gain exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration, and you will have access to continuous learning, training programs, and career development opportunities designed to help you succeed.

The extra stuff

This position requires—with or without reasonable accommodation—the physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively. This includes maintaining composure under pressure while interacting with clients, authorities, executives, and staff; working independently without direct supervision; and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The position may involve handling sensitive or confidential information and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet operational demands. This role may require evening, overnight, or weekend work, particularly during emergencies or high‑priority events. Work may occur in outdoor or inclement weather or environments requiring protective gear and heightened safety awareness. The role requires the physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 12 miles/19 km per shift), climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds (11 kg).

This standardized global job description is intended to define the core responsibilities and requirements of the Regional Security Manager role across regions. Local addenda may be applied to address country-specific legal, regulatory, language, or clearance requirements without altering the core role definition.
