The Position We are currently seeking a passionate, creative, and highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Analytical Development Biologicals group in Biberach, Germany. Tasks & responsibilities In your new role in analytical development for therapeutic proteins, you will leverage your expertise and enthusiasm to drive protein chemistry method development and analysis, focusing on structure-function relationships. In this context, you will focus on the relationship of molecule structure and its stability of therapeutic proteins. You will approach scientific questions from the pharmaceutical development process with curiosity and an open mind, thoroughly investigating underlying causalities. You will be passionate about establishing new analytical technologies and advancing existing analytical and characterization methods, implementing them effectively within our interdisciplinary team. Your interest and experience in scientific research enable you to review publications in the field of pharmaceutical development and therapeutic protein analysis (and beyond), identify actionable insights, and successfully translate them into impactful contributions for our team. You enjoy collaborating with internal and external (international) stakeholders to drive your projects forward in a targeted manner. We trust you to take responsible care of supervising students and doctoral candidates, while actively contributing to the promotion of young scientists and technicians. Finally, you will present your findings at internal and external events and publish them in reports and scientific journals in order to make progress in pharmaceutical development visible. Requirements PhD degree in natural sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Physics, or a related discipline) Strong expertise in structural biology, structure-function relationships of Proteintherapeutics, protein analytics, protein chemistry, as well as data preparation and visualization Experience in the development, implementation, execution, and interpretation of protein chemistry and spectroscopic methods Desired experience in data science, computational biology, molecular dynamics simulations, or mass spectrometry Strong communication skills, an open-minded and independent working style, and a natural curiosity for scientific exploration Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken Ready to contact us?
