As Head of Finance at jameda, you will be the financial steward and strategic partner for our operations. You will oversee the full financial agenda, including planning, forecasting, and cash flow management, and serve as a key advisor to the CEO and leadership team. You will lead a talented finance team, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure data-driven decision-making. You will report directly to Constanze, CEO Germany, with a dotted line to Gervasio, Global VP Finance.
Impact of Your Role:
* Driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic resource allocation.
* Leading and developing high-performing finance teams across FP&A, Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, and Procurement.
* Designing and implementing scalable financial systems and processes.
* Managing financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting in complex environments.
* Supporting business model innovation, pricing strategies, and investment analysis.
* Ensuring compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and regulatory frameworks, with IFRS knowledge as a plus.
Qualifications:
* MBA or similar degree with specialization in Finance.
* At least 8 years of professional experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
* Experience in FP&A, Accounting, and Controlling, with proficiency in scenario modeling and risk planning.
* Hands-on experience with finance systems like DATEV, Netsuite, or Pigment.
* Knowledge of BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data into financial insights.
* Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills.
* Proactive leadership with high ownership and accountability.
* Data-driven mindset and continuous improvement focus.
* High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
* Adaptability to fast-changing, entrepreneurial environments.
Location: Berlin office, with a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
