INTERNSHIP/MASTER-THESIS: DEVELOPMENT OF GENERATIVE AI FOR RADAR SIGNAL SIMULATION

Location Lippstadt, Germany

YOUR TASKS

Duringyour internship, you will support our team in researching and developing innovative AI methods for simulating realistic raw radar data. Your tasks will include:

1. Research & Analysis: Conducting literature research and familiarizing yourself with existing methods for synthetic radar signal generation.
2. Model Development: Assisting in the development, adaptation, and training of generative AI methods (e.g., diffusion models) for generating raw radar data.
3. Implementation: Supporting the team in executing tests to evaluate data quality and software performance.
4. Evaluation & Comparison: Comparing generated data with real measurement results and assessing their quality.
5. Documentation & Presentation: Documenting your results and insights and preparing them in a structured and clear manner for presentation

START: As soon as possible
DURATION: at least 12 weeks

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

6. Education: You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
7. Programming Skills: You possess strong programming skills in Python and have practical experience with PyTorch.
8. Deep Learning Expertise: You have a solid understanding of Deep Learning methodologies and generative models, such as Variational Autoencoders (VAE) and Diffusion Models.
9. Language Proficiency: You demonstrate excellent proficiency in either German or English (minimum C1 level).
