Epic Vision Eye Centers is looking for a Practice Management candidate for our Washington, KS office. Epic Vision is looking for someone who is passionate about helping people. Desired characteristics include hard worker, learning agility, follow through, leadership skills and the ability to provide Epic patient care.
Job Duties
* Coordinate scheduling and patient care needs with the doctor
* Hire, train, and manage office support staff
* Answer multi-line phone system
* Update insurance information and obtain insurance authorizations
* Lead patients through and assist in the eye exam pre-testing process
* Perform patient prescreening analysis
* Conform to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
* Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 5 day work week
* Personable and able to make patients feel welcome
* Highly organized and strong attention to detail
* Desire and ability to take on new tasks
* Ability to multi-task and follow schedules
* Basic computer knowledge required
* Ability to work assigned schedule
