Purpose of Role
As a Sales Associate, you will contribute to our sales and KPI goals by embodying our brand values, providing athletes with a unique experience during their visit to Under Armour. This role reports to Store Managers and is responsible for executing routine tasks to support business operations. In the absence of Stock Specialists, Sales Associates will take on their responsibilities.
Your Impact
Sales and Omnichannel
* Provide direct sales support to athletes to achieve the KPI sales goals set by Retail Store Managers.
* Handle omnichannel inquiries according to UA processes and guidelines through digital experiences.
Brand Image and Customer Experience
* Exemplify the UA service culture and customer expectations.
* Assist athletes in communicating brand messages.
* Integrate product knowledge into the sales process through training participation.
Retail Operations
* Adhere to standards for merchandise and sales areas.
* Follow UA policies and procedures.
* Complete operational and cash register tasks (manually or system-based) as trained.
* Comply with Under Armour's dress code and attendance policies.
* Meet work hours according to Under Armour's attendance guidelines.
Team Collaboration/Self-Development
* Collaborate with teammates to achieve business goals.
* Take responsibility for your own development and leverage growth opportunities to enhance performance.
Qualifications
* Basic skills in math, reading, writing, listening, and communication.
* Fluent in German; English is a plus.
* Proficient in using computers and other technologies.
* Proven ability to collaborate and work well in a team.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Requirements
* 0–3 months of retail experience in sports apparel/clothing and footwear.
* Able to adapt work hours flexibly to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Physical Requirements
* Able to handle or move products weighing up to 12 kg.
* Capable of moving for extended periods with short breaks to handle products.
* Access all areas of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and cash register area.
