Job Description:
We are seeking an Investment Product Specialist to contribute to the development and enhancement of our investment products. In this role, you will support our Relationship Managers/Advisors in using and maintaining our Portfolio Management System.
As a specialist, you will be responsible for understanding front office needs, synthesizing business requirements, and documenting features, stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile projects aligned with the priorities set by the Product Owner.
* Support front office teams (Advisors, PM, RM, IFA) with investment activities related to transactional tools: Triple'A and Be-Advised (EdgeLab).
* Maintain data quality and control of the Portfolio Management System (PMS - Triple'A) and Advisory tool (portfolio model, asset allocation rules, and investment guidelines update), ensuring reconciliation between Core Banking System (CBS - T24) and Triple'A.
* Develop and maintain programs used for automated non-regression tests on Triple'A.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile teams to understand business goals and objectives.
* Define, analyze, and document user requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Facilitate meetings to gather and validate business requirements with multiple departments (Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Audit, etc.).
* Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed changes or enhancements.
* Perform business process analysis and recommend process improvements.
* Ensure the necessary quality of deliverables through Functional and Acceptance testing.
* Implement and develop a risk scoring system for all products and services, enhancing the first line of defense.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Banking, Finance, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years of experience in the banking sector or relevant position.
* Fluency in French and English; any other language is an asset.
* Ability to combine business and technology with strong knowledge in VBA, SQL, Python.
* Good understanding of investment products and services, data control and analysis, business process improvement, incident management, test definition and execution, stakeholder relationship management, and customer experience.
* Strong knowledge of business situation analysis, functional requirements definition and management, and methods and tools.
* Strong team spirit and commitment.
* Clear and structured communication skills, both oral and written, and both technical and non-technical people.
* Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
* Experience in Agile projects is an asset.
