Key responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment:
1. Assisting the Plant Manager in establishing, implementing, and developing plant health & safety policies and procedures to achieve best results in achieving zero accidents and in reducing energy usage
Quality:
2. Assisting the Plant Managers in establishing, maintaining, and developing an effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and providing direction, leadership, and support to the team to enable the plant to deliver quality products and projects
Production/Continuous Improvement:
3. You work on processes and continuous improvement projects, reviewing lean and best practices and translate important objectives into local plant-based targets
Financials:
4. You are looking for capex and other projects and ensuring that the plant meets the agreed output requirements
People:
5. You assist the Plant Manager in building strong teams
6. You actively support our Ardagh values trust, team & excellence
Requirements:
7. Minimum 3 years job related experience at senior management level in a unionized environment
8. Bachelor’s degree
9. Understanding 24/7/365 5 shift pattern operation and high volume/scale effect
10. Experience close to the Shop floor operation and understanding people drivers and machinery
11. Proven leadership skills to build effective teams
12. Customer focused, self-driven, dynamic personality with strategic approach
