What you will do
The Senior Manager will apply strategic consulting expertise in purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology to elevate GEP. You will help drive our services and shape the future of our company.
* Contribute to the development and execution of the global strategy for the procurement consultancy practice
* Own client relationships and satisfaction levels
* Lead team efforts to ensure project and program objectives are achieved
* Develop and coach team members
* Understand client culture and needs
* Identify new business opportunities and support expansion efforts
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously with positive results
* Develop sourcing strategies aligned with client goals and policies
* Interface with clients to understand sourcing and procurement requirements
* Provide sound recommendations for program objectives such as cost savings and transformation
* Lead sourcing activities, RFQ events, auctions, supplier management, and negotiations
* Use data sources creatively for fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
* Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with clients
What you should bring
* 7+ years of management consulting experience or combined consultancy and industry experience
* Demonstrated leadership ability
* Strong client management skills
* Business problem-solving skills with analytical and reporting expertise
* Excellent presentation skills
* Potential for business development
* Willingness to travel 30% of the time
* Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX, etc. (a plus)
* Fluency in German (mandatory)
