What you will do
Act as the appointed person responsible for hazardous materials transportManage all logistics processes from goods receipt through storage, picking, and dispatchPerform and follow up on inspections, tests, and maintenance activities, and ensure timely supply of required chemicals to production areasProcess orders including material requisitions (via SAP) and track deliveriesMonitor material inventories, shelf lives, and demand, including early escalation in the event of shortagesOrganize and handle returns and empty containers, including preparation of all required shipping and accompanying documentsEnsure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental regulations when handling chemicals and hazardous materialsConduct inventory counts as well as regular stock and storage location inspectionsHandle outbound shipments from the central warehouse and chemical warehouseCarry out internal material transport (including hazardous goods)Operate industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts)Support precious metals handling in the central warehouse in compliance with specific security and documentation requirementsManage and document inventories at external storage locationsPrepare analyses, reports, and documentation related to warehouse operationsSupport warehouse organization, e.g. through inventory checks and ensuring correct warehouse labelingParticipate in task-related projectsServe as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersWhat you will need
