About usMy forward-thinking client are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IC Layout Engineer to support the development of high-speed integrated circuits for next-generation communication systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop physical layouts for integrated circuits used in advanced high-speed data communication systems
- Conduct verification at both block and top levels to ensure:
- Alignment with schematics
- Compliance with fabrication and reliability standards
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration with hardware and systems teams
- Apply standardised design practices to support efficient and consistent development workflows
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Solid experience in physical layout of RF or mixed-signal integrated circuits
- Skilled in using industry-standard tools for IC design (e.g., Cadence or similar platforms)
- In-depth understanding of layout flows optimised for manufacturability and long-term reliability
- Familiarity with advanced semiconductor technologies is a bonus
- Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced environments
- Clear communicator with strong English skills (German is advantageous)
