KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Europe & Africa Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a "Sales and Bid Manager” (f/m/d) within our Steam Plant Solutions Team you are responsible for the sales and bid management (up to PM080) of global service opportunities focusing on steam turbine and generator modernizations for combined cycle, coal fired and nuclear power plants while supporting our customers on their Transformation of existing assets towards a more sustainable and decarbonized future. Your daily work comprises meetings with regional sales colleagues in the regions Europe/Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Customer calls to develop projects or negotiate contracts as well as alignment meetings with the relevant stakeholders in the headquarters.How You’ll Make an Impact
4. Manage global service opportunities with a high complexity from the initial lead phase to final handover to project execution.
5. Collaborate with our global stakeholders e. g. regional sales, engineering, project management, manufacturing, field service and pro-actively drive our Brownfield Transformation business globally.
6. Directly interact with customers and support them by evaluating project specifications or Request for Quotations (RFQs) including continuous consultation to develop tailor-made solutions.
7. Negotiate and close agreements and contracts with support of your bid team including various disciplines like commercial, legal and engineering.
8. Perform market and customer analysis or strategical marketing activities.
9. Contribute to the decarbonization of the Energy Sector globally by optimizing the energy efficiency of gas turbine and steam turbines power plants
What You Bring
10. Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering with quick understanding of technical correlations.
11. High level of motivation and dedication to work on complex subjects covering multiple disciplines such as marketing, sales, engineering and management.
12. You are a team player with great communication and organizational skills.
13. Product know-how of combined cycle, fossil and nuclear power plants incl. steam turbine and generator technology or the willingness to quickly grow in these areas.
14. Work experience in the power generation business as well as sales & bid management would be an important asset
15. Proficient in German & English
