Site Director
Are you experienced within a senior operational logistics role? Then this could be the right vacancy for you! We are recruiting for a Site Director at GXO Logistics, leading our logistics site in Hammersbach.
What your day as Site Director looks like:
* You are responsible for all activities at our logistics site and ensure continuous business growth and long-term relationships with our local customer
* You promote the development and implementation of all activities at the location
* You create annual site plans, interim reports, and reports directly to management
* Lead initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements, and customer expectations
* You manage a large team of 100 FTEs
* You orchestrate over 200 trucks per day
* You prepare the entity's budget and manage P&L
What you need to be successful in the role of Site Director:
* You have broad logistical background knowledge, preferably in the area of support chains or the areas of automated logistics, distribution centres, or warehouses
* You have solid experience in managing large logistics operations
* You can lead change processes to increase performance, productivity, and flexibility
* You enjoy working in a diverse and international environment and getting the best out of your employees
* You know how to strike a balance between the interests of the company, the customer, and our employees
* You speak both German and English fluently
