Acting as the subject matter expert and data owner, this role ensures global data standards are defined, implemented, and adhered to across regions and systems, enabling accurate reporting, efficient processes, and compliance with regulatory and business requirements.Your responsibilities include:Data Governance & OwnershipAct as the global owner for Material, Supplier, and Customer master dataDefine and maintain global data standards, business rules, and taxonomiesCollaborate with Data Governance and IT teams to implement and maintain data policies and controlsData Quality ManagementMonitor and analyze data quality KPIs across systems and regionsIdentify root causes of data issues and drive corrective actionsManage data cleansing and enrichment initiatives to improve data accuracy and completenessCross-functional CollaborationWork with regional/ local data stewards, business units, procurement, supply chain, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent master data practicesServe as the liaison between business users and technical teams for master data enhancements and issue resolutionProcess & System IntegrationSupport ERP (e.g., SAP) and MDM (Master Data Management) system implementations and upgrades.Contribute to data migration and integration efforts during M&A, system consolidation, or new system rollouts.Compliance & Audit SupportEnsure master data compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)Support internal and external audits related to master data governanceDocumentation & TrainingDevelop and maintain master data process documentation, SOPs, and training materialsTrain regional stewards and end-users( key-users on data standards and governance practicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Supply Chain, or a related field5+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in a global organizationDeep understanding of Material, Supplier, and Customer master data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA)Experience with MDM tools and data quality tools is a plus (e.g. SAP MDG)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and GermanExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with global cross-functional collaboration and multicultural environmentsStrong project management skills and ability to lead data initiativesChange management and process improvement mindset (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworksWe Offer:A dynamic and international work environment with opportunities for growth.Flat hierarchies and a high degree of autonomy and ownership.Competitive compensation and benefits.We transform the Metal Circular Economy for a better Tomorrow - become a part of it and hit that "Apply" button
