IT specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on Linux
Field of activity
* Contact person for service, support, sales and international Beckhoff product specialists for questions relating to embedded operating systems with a focus on Linux
* Testing and release of individual TwinCAT and system components for Linux on the various EPC/IPC platforms
* Creation of customer-specific Linux operating system configurations
* Support with the configuration of operating systems
Requirements
* Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with professional experience or a comparable qualification
* Experience in the system administration of Linux systems
* Experience in the use of container technologies (including Docker)
* Extensive knowledge of network technology and administration
* Knowledge of automation technology and our TwinCAT automation software is desirable
* Independent, structured and reliable way of working, as well as the ability to think "out of the box" to find solutions
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders
* confident, confident demeanor paired with strong communication skills as well as customer and service orientation, even in stressful situations
* Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and very good knowledge of English (at least C1 level), both written and spoken
