Lincoln International is seeking a Vice President to join our growing M&A team in Frankfurt, covering primarily the DACH region. This role entails working closely with the firm's Managing Directors and Directors in building relationships with clients, potential clients, and finance providers. This individual will need to have deep experience of executing financing transactions in the mid-market and will be expected to contribute to Business Development as well as Associates' and Analysts' growth at the firm.
In Germany, our team comprises over 90 bankers covering a very broad range of sectors, including Industrials & Renewables, Consumer, Technology, Business Services, Healthcare, as well as Capital Advisory, located in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin. We are proud to consistently rank among the top in M&A league tables, especially for sell sides for private equity clients. In 2023, Lincoln International successfully advised on over 300 transactions worldwide.
The European Lincoln International Capital Advisory Group successfully advised on 350+ transactions worldwide since its inception in the range of Euro 50 to 350 million. In 2024 we had another record performance of our global Capital Advisory Group by providing creative and alternative financing solutions to clients out of 5 European offices with more than 25 dedicated professionals in order to secure capital for acquisition financings, investments, refinancings & recapitalisations, staple financings staving off defaults, restructuring businesses and navigating distressed situations and bankruptcies, and developing structured capital solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities at Lincoln International are often more entrepreneurial than at other firms providing self-motivated individuals with many opportunities to contribute to a dynamic and growing platform.
* Conceptualising, organising, processing and delivering new business presentations
* Contributing to transaction process planning and deal structuring conversations
* Producing and reviewing transaction marketing materials and complex integrated financial models;
* Managing Analysts and Associates to ensure timelines are met and quality is maintained
* Acting as key client point of contact for day-to-day queries, with an ability to discuss deal issues internally and with third parties
* Identifying and contacting finance providers on transactions
* Preparing term sheets and reviewing transaction due diligence reports and loan agreements
* Training and developing Associates and Analysts at the firm
* Contributing to the team and the firm's marketing efforts as well as initiatives focused on growing the firm's franchise value.

Qualifications:
The Vice President position at Lincoln International offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future business career. Interested candidates should bring the following requirements:
* Extensive track record of executing financing transactions, preferably in the mid-market, with at least 5.5, ideally 6-7 years' experience in Capital Advisory/Leverage Finance.
* Experience and demonstrated ability in seeking and identifying new business opportunities in concert with Managing Directors.
* Ability to confidently and credibly connect with potential new clients and to lead client meetings.
* Excellent finance, accounting and financial modeling skills, coupled with pronounced business acumen and the ability to form clear commercial views.
* Experience in successfully managing teams of Associates and Analysts; and leading project work.
* An exceptional, well rounded academic background, ideally educated to Masters level in a business related subject.
* Great analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a willingness to develop and learn.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a commitment to personal and team growth, underpinned through professional and academic excellence as well as other pursuits and personal projects.
* Adaptability, dependability and the ability to manage a dynamic workload.
