Supplier Manager (m/f/d) for Medical Engineering Partner Location: 71034, Böblingen Supplier Manager (m/f/d) for Medical Engineering Partner Workplace: 71034, Böblingen What to expect: Develop and deploy SE strategy in line with supply management and business strategy Deploy, set, assess and decide on the quality aspects in the Supplier Selection process Deploy and follow-up on the SE related KPI’s towards the suppliers and SQ engineers Ensure the annual definition of the quality improvement plan (QIP) for strategic/preferred BOM suppliers based on business needs, ensure timely implementation Exercise judgement and influence on key procurement decisions (e.g. standards and policies, vendor selection, cost, contractual clause) within the team Actively driving reduction in supplier caused defects and driving analysis and Supplier Corrective actions for vendor caused defects APQP plan development, execution, monitoring and control as part of Sustaining Changes. Supplier performance monitoring, reporting, improvement and development Accountable for Supplier quality risk assessment and mitigation Assess and coordinate Supplier Change Requests What you bring along: Bachelors/master’s degree in medical technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field Knowledge of the relevant regulations in the medical technology environment (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, MDD/EUMDR) Experience as an auditor is a big plus Knowledge of the application of common quality methods: PFMEA / DFMEA, APQP / PPAP, process validation IQ / OQ / PQ, MSA / Gage R&R, SPC, 8D and CAPA, Complaint handling Six Sigma qualification preferred Ability to drive Supplier Quality Improvement Projects from start to end Hands-on mentality and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%) Very good communication skills, negotiation skills and persuasiveness Business fluent English and German skills The assignment is (temporary, in personnel leasing) at a client company in the medical technology industry.
