As the SAP Transformation Leader, this role drives a company‑wide digital transformation within a global manufacturing organization. It oversees the full lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA program—from early planning and process design through global rollout and stabilisation, ensuring that all activities align with the company’s operational goals and long‑term strategy. The focus lies on harmonizing processes across plants, increasing transparency, and enabling an integrated system landscape that supports efficiency and growth. Apart from SAP, you will also be responsible for additional transformation programs, working directly with the C‑board to shape strategic initiatives that impact the entire organization, making this a highly visible and influential leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Steer the overall execution of a complex, multi‑site SAP S/4HANA transformation from initial concept through go‑live.
* Drive comprehensive change management initiatives across the organisation, ensuring alignment with stakeholders at all hierarchical levels.
* Lead a global harmonisation effort to standardise and optimise business processes across all sites.
* Oversee and coordinate international, cross-functional project teams throughout all implementation phases.
* Serve as the central liaison for all strategic, organisational and content‑related project matters.
* Manage external consulting and implementation partners, ensuring effective collaboration and measurable outcomes.
* Deliver structured workshops and presentations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
* Ensure project goals regarding timeline, budget and quality are met while following established project governance models.
* Support the rollout of a company‑wide data governance and data management framework.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Several years of experience managing SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA transformation, rollout or migration initiatives end‑to‑end.
* Experience in manufacturing environments, ideally across both series production and project/low‑volume production.
* Exposure to machinery or mechanical engineering industries, where engineering, production and supply chain must work closely together.
* Strong ability to communicate, influence and moderate complex discussions with diverse stakeholder groups.
* Understanding of multi‑plant operations, knowing how different sites collaborate, mature differently, and require harmonisation across a group.
* Completed an academic degree in a technical or business discipline.
* Proven capability to navigate international project landscapes with high travel readiness.
* Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
