YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
* You build consumer-facing software that “just works” in Java
* You are responsible for designing end-to-end distributed systems on the cloud
* You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
* You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
* Experience You have a university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with proven experience working in Technology environment building Cloud native applications, ideally in dynamic and fast-paced settings
* Language You have extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot
* Architecture You have experience designingdistributed systems withevent-driven Microservices architectures usingbrokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ
* Platform You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform as well as observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and IBM Instana to monitor and ensure system reliability
* Communication You possess excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across geo-locations
