Job description
This is a challenging opportunity for an engineer who can integrate mechanical, thermodynamic, and control subsystems. You will work on system-level models for gas turbines and develop software tools for performance prediction, transient analysis, and operability assessment.
You'll have the chance to apply AI/ML, digital twin technologies, and data analytics to enhance decision-making and predictive capabilities. Collaboration with component teams will be key to ensuring accurate system integration and requirements alignment.

Requirements
* You should have a master's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering.
* You should have professional background of 3+ years in the gas or aero turbine industry with expertise in component integration and large turbine fundamentals.
* You should have experience with system modeling tools (e.g., NPSS, proprietary modeling environments) and thermodynamic cycle analysis including steady-state, transient simulations, and engine operability.
* You should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, Fortran, Bash, C, and C++ in Linux environments, including version control with GitLab.
* You should have knowledge of control systems, sensor integration, data acquisition, and high-performance or cloud-based computing environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
