Role: Junior Procurement Officer / Contract Administrator (Back Office Support) – Freelance
Location: Cologne area – min. 3 days/week on site
Language: German required + English comfortable
Duration: ASAP → freelance contract until end of year
Focus (hands-on ops support):
* Validate timesheets (vendor / contractor time confirmations)
* Back-office paperwork (PO/admin tracking, documentation, filing, follow-ups)
* Change order requests (log, route, chase approvals, keep register clean)
* Invoice validation (3-way match style checks: PO/GR/invoice, cost coding, discrepancies)
1. Typical tools to assume / pre-screen for (even if not stated):
* Excel (tracking logs), SharePoint
* SAP (MM) / Ariba / SRM or similar
Relevant Experience:
* 1–4 years in procurement admin / contract admin / project office support
* EPC/EPCM / industrial / chemical / plant maintenance or construction admin experience = strong plus
