To drive the next phase of growth, they are seeking a Senior Coverage Leader with a proven track record in successfully driving business growth and originating new opportunities with large corporate clients across the DACH and Nordics regions.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Coverage DACH & Nordics will be responsible for leading and further developing the Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Nordic countries, ensuring sustainable commercial growth, high-quality client coverage, and consistent execution across the region. The position is based in Frankfurt and reports directly to the Country Manager.
The role encompasses leading a double-digit coverage team across DACH and Nordics, driving business growth with large multinational clients, coordinating cross-border collaboration with product and sector teams, representing the bank externally, and ensuring delivery of strategic, financial, and governance objectives.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate brings a proven track record in team leadership and several years of client-facing experience in Corporate Banking. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong high performance leadership capabilities, including the proven ability to inspire, engage and develop teams by creating a psychologically safe working environment. The role requires strong product expertise across Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Trade & Working Capital, as well as Project, Export, and Asset Finance, combined with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and legal documentation.
The candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, coupled with a clear client focus and sound commercial judgement. Fluency in German and English is required, while Spanish language skills are considered an advantage. The ideal profile is characterized by results orientation, cultural adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment, with a willingness to travel.
