Your Role

Your daily work routine will be a vibrant and engaging blend of the following tasks:
1. Support our Web Component Development team in building, testing, and maintaining reusable frontend components for digital products and platforms
2. Contribute to the implementation of modern, scalable, and user-centered frontend solutions using web technologies
3. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into high-quality frontend components
4. Assist in improving the usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency of our component library and frontend applications
5. Help document components, usage guidelines, and development standards to support efficient collaboration and adoption across teams
6. Participate in debugging, testing, and optimizing frontend code to ensure quality and performance
7. Support the integration of web components into larger applications and contribute to the continuous improvement of our frontend development processes
8. Directly apply the skills and knowledge gained during your studies to real-world projects
Your Profile
9. Enrolled student in computer science, media informatics, software engineering, or a comparable degree program
10. First practical experience or solid knowledge in frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript
11. Interested in modern frontend architectures and component-based development
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to understand technical requirements quickly
13. Collaborative team player who is also independent, open-minded, proactive, and agile in your thinking
14. You exhibit a structured work approach and effectively organize your tasks
15. You are fluent in English
16. You are available for a minimum of one year and 20 hours per week
Nice to have
17. You have gained first experience with frontend frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, Lit, or similar technologies
18. You are familiar with Git, package managers, and common frontend development workflows
19. You have a basic understanding of responsive design, web accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
20. You understand how different disciplines—concept, design, and development—work together to create high-quality digital products
21. You have conversational skills in German or are eager to improve your proficiency in the German language
