The Chief Engineer Construction Milling Machine is responsible for milling machines development in Europe.
The Chief Engineer report directly to the Chief Group Engineer and the position is based in Bedburg (Hybrid).
The key responsibilities of the Chief Engineer cold planer are :
* Coordination of the design team to ensure timely and high-quality development of milling machines design project,
* Development and evaluation of new design concepts for cold planer, including conducting feasibility studies,
* Monitoring the entire design process regarding specific industry regulations and standards,
* Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless integration of design into the production process,
* Introduction of innovation design solutions to meet the requirements of modern road construction projects,
* Establishments and implementation of design standards and guidelines tailored to the specific requirements in the cold planer industry.
We are looking for these qualifications :
* You have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* You are proficient in CAD Software and other relevant design tools for the road construction sector
* You demonstrated experience in the design and development of milling machine for the road construction
* You have the ability to lead and motivate teams to address complex technical challenges
* You have excellent interpersonal skills
* You demonstrate success in implementing innovative design solutions and optimizing cold planer products
