At our innovative start-up Testo bioAnalytics, around 25 employees work on state-of-the-art systems for measuring microbiological parameters in the food industry. To further scale our business, we are looking for an experienced sales & marketing leader for this newly created position, with a background in international B2B sales, ideally in food safety / diagnostics and/or with a strong focus on digital sales. Building a digital sales and marketing infrastructure for the target market of industrial food manufacturing in the USA (B2B, food safety), with a clear focus on purely digital sales (“we sell through our web shop, no onsite sales reps”) and reference-based marketing
Sustainable management and development of customer relationships and key accounts in close collaboration with Customer Success Management
Responsibility for the e-commerce / web shop (orchestration and continuous optimization)
Functional and disciplinary leadership of sales and marketing team members in Germany and the USA (currently 3 team members)
Independent budget planning and full budget responsibility for the sales and marketing area

HR Business Partner
Strong hands-on mentality: you work in a small team not only on a strategic level, but also operationally – e.g. in winning key accounts, running demos, and building processes and tools
At least 10 years of experience in sales of food safety solutions (e.g. bacterial pathogens / diagnostics) or in digital / inside sales (B2B), including at least 5 years in a leadership role
Solid experience in the build-up and further development of sales organizations as well as in collaborating with Customer Success Management, subject matter experts and field application specialists
Proven track record in B2B key account management and the ability to build and expand long-term business relationships (Land & Expand)
Very good command English, both written and spoken
