In the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Professur für BWL, insb. Unternehmensbesteuerung, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.10.2026 at the following conditions:
1. 100% = 39,83 hours
2. Pay grade 13 TV-L
3. limited for the duration of 3 years
Your tasks:
4. You will conduct research with us in the field of corporate taxation and related research areas. Our aim is to address issues that are relevant to the international research community and practice
5. You will present your research findings at international conferences and subsequently publish them with international visibility
6. You will actively contribute to the academic profile of our chair by carrying out research projects.
7. You will carry out independent teaching activities (exercises and seminars), prepare courses and be responsible for the maintenance of teaching materials.
Your profile:
8. At the time of recruitment, you will have a Master's degree in business administration (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Taxation). You are also welcome to apply several months before you graduate.
9. During your Master programm, you have demonstrated a sound knowledge and a keen interest in corporate taxation topics through your convincing performance and commitment.
10. You have econometric knowledge and have ideally already been able to apply this in the context of seminar papers and/or your Master thesis with an archival-empirical approach.
11. You are confident in using common Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ideally already have programming skills (e.g. STATA, R, Python)
12. You have a good command of the English language.
