Technical Sales Representative
UK & Ireland
YOUR TASKS
* Responsibility for sales of Selecta bedding, balcony & Perennial products in a designated geographical area.
* Promoting and introducing new varieties and concepts to customers.
* Delivering area sales targets.
* Developing and organising after sales services for the clients, including regular visits and technical assistance to growers.
* Interaction with the customer service team to ensure customers requirements are met.
* Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
* Represent the company at UK & European trade events when required + attend product training.
YOUR PROFILE
* Successfully completed studies or vocational training as a horticulture specialist or a comparable qualification.
* Work experience in sales is essential – preferably in the horticulture industry. Previous growing / nursery experience would be ideal.
* High self-responsibility and passion to travel.
* Competent with Microsoft Office especially Excel & Outlook.
* Structured approach to work, pragmatic thinking, and communicative manner.
* Resilient, with effective communication and relationship-building skills.
