Job Role
The successful candidate will contribute to research activities in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data.
Key responsibilities include conducting research, planning quality research projects, managing the scientific activity and supervising a research team in cooperation with the Professor.
Additionally, the candidate will be expected to identify, apply for and manage research funding as well as allocate project resources.
* Conduct research in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data
* Plan quality research projects and manage the scientific activity
* Supervise a research team in cooperation with the Professor
* Identify, apply for and manage research funding as well as allocate project resources
* PhD of high quality, ideally in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance
* Detailed knowledge of relevant models, techniques and methods, and ability to develop new ones
* Proven success in planning related work, building a team and delivering research results
* Experience in programming languages such as Python or R
* Very good written and oral skills in English
* Multilingual and international character
