This globally recognised data centre developer is continuing its rapid expansion across Europe, delivering large-scale hyperscale and mission-critical facilities for some of the world’s leading technology clients. Backed by significant investment and a strong international project pipeline, the business has developed a reputation for delivering technically complex, high-value infrastructure projects across key European markets.
As part of their continued growth throughout the region, they are now looking to appoint a Regional Planning Manager to support the successful planning and delivery of a portfolio of hyperscale data centre developments across Europe.
The Role
This position would suit an experienced Planning Manager or Senior Planning professional with strong client-side, developer, or major project consultancy experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Infrastructure, or EPC-style project environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic and detailed project planning activities across a portfolio of complex developments, supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle from concept through to handover. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and leadership stakeholders to ensure programme performance, reporting, and project delivery objectives are achieved.
The role requires strong Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud capability, strategic planning expertise, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to manage schedule risk, opportunity, and project reporting across multiple live projects.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple projects
• Facilitate planning and schedule workshops with key stakeholders
• Monitor programme risks, opportunities, and schedule performance
• Coordinate and manage external planning consultants throughout project lifecycles
• Support planning and execution activities across complex project portfolios
• Review project schedules, planning deliverables, and reporting outputs
• Develop and improve planning processes and procedures
• Coordinate programme reporting across multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor critical milestones and project delivery performance
• Support schedule-related contractual and commercial reviews
• Review claims relating to variations and extensions of time (EOT)
• Assist with technical and contractual stakeholder coordination
• Ensure schedules align with project and stakeholder requirements
• Support strategic programme planning and project governance activities
Requirements
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within the construction or engineering industry
• Strong experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Infrastructure, or EPC project environments
• Client-side, developer, or client-facing consultancy experience preferred
• Expert Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud capability
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Experience managing complex project portfolios and multiple stakeholders
• Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office capability
• Degree qualified within Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
