We’re currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Platform Product Lead (m/f/d) to join our team in the Commerce Business Unit. In this role, you’ll work on exciting projects, including scaling our cloud-based infrastructure to support our growing online shop customer base.
As a Platform Product Lead (m/f/d) – Commerce DevOps, you’ll be part of a key team that helps our development teams manage their infrastructure efficiently. You’ll lead the implementation of new services, prioritize upcoming requests and manage the Commerce DevOps team.
What you will do
1. Prioritize and manage incoming requests while balancing long-term planning and short-term execution.
2. Drive an automation-first approach, standardizing processes and optimizing workflows across teams.
3. Manage cost optimization, track cost changes, and ensure the efficient use of infrastructure tools such as AWS etc.
4. Drive agile, including stand-ups and sprint planning, to keep teams aligned and progress on track.
5. Organize and refine the project backlog, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritization of key tasks.
6. Leverage a technical understanding of systems and tools (e.g., AWS, SQL) to support decision-making and monitoring.
7. Create an engaging work atmosphere that motivates teams and drives continuous improvement.
Who you are
8. At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, or related roles, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
9. Solid technical understanding, demonstrated through previous experience with technologies such as APIs, SQL, IT tools, and cloud platforms like AWS
10. Leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration in an agile environment.
11. Fluent in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
12. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including managing infrastructure, deployments, and cost optimization.
13. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and system integration tasks.
14. Experience in e-commerce
Additional information:
**Working model:
Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work at our headquarters in Hamburg or in our office in Berlin. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
