Join our team of Cloud Engineers and Kubernetes Experts to design and operate secure, high-performance systems that drive this transformation. As a Network & Cloud Engineer, you’ll work on hybrid cloud and datacenter infrastructure powering critical, distributed applications. We are looking for colleague (m/f/d) to join us in Leipzig or remotely from Berlin (since part of the team is based in Berlin). The role Manage and improve network infrastructure across AWS and on-premises data centers Design and build secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions Ensure connectivity, availability, and security of our hybrid systems Work hands-on with physical equipment (firewalls, servers, cabling) Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar Support troubleshooting across systems, network layers, and tools What we need from you We don’t expect you to tick every box. If you match around 75% of these, we’d love to hear from you! 3–5 years working in hybrid infrastructure (AWS on-premises) Experience with networking fundamentals and protocols (L2/L3, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, LACP, VPN) Familiar with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Site-to-Site VPNs, Direct Connect, etc.) Understanding of network security and best practices Ability to assess risks and develop security-focused solutions Comfortable with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Good monitoring and debugging skills across the stack Comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-driven startup environment Fluency in English, both written and spoken (German is not required as English is our company language) Nice to Have: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA / CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) Experience with ISO27001, KRITIS, or SOC vendors Exposure to the energy sector or critical infrastructure Knowledge of IoT security challenges What we offer Competitive hardware including a standing desk, 4K curved screen, and MacBook Pro City center office location including home office option EGYM Wellpass membership support Educational budget for every employee Team events, summer & winter parties Real startup culture by having an impact in a small, motivated team Sounds good to you?
